As we begin experiencing warmer weather, it is important to keep yourself and your loved ones safe. Stanislaus County Cooling Zone sites offer free air-conditioned spaces for the community to stay cool. These sites are entirely free and a great way for residents to save energy. Anyone looking to escape the extreme heat may go to one of the sites.
Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority Bus System is also offering free rides to any Cooling Zone site during the month of July and on days with an Excessive Heat Warning.
